Suleyman Saba makes tableware and individual stoneware pots. The forms he makes and the glazes he uses bring together traditional techniques with modern sensibilities.

Peter Smith

Peter Smith was once a research chemist before turning his hand to ceramics and starting a pottery in Cornwall. He aims to combine the feel of traditional earthenware with contemporary ideas. The basic form is often thrown on the wheel in a heavily grogged brown clay.

Anthony Dix

Anthony has been making pots for over forty years following a BA at Cardiff University, where he had the opportunity to build a salt kiln and learned to throw. These two things have been central to his making ever since. He returned to Cardiff to complete an MA twenty years ago and focused on rekindling his love of vapour glazing. He switched to soda firing when it was no longer possible to salt glaze at Cardiff.

Kaori is a Japanese ceramicist living and working in London. She was born in Arita, coming from a family of ceramics traders and from the age of eight, lived in Kyoto - both places famous for ceramics. She grew up surrounded by ceramics and was immersed in nature playing with plants, trees, insects and animals.
