Anna Lambert

parcevall hall saplings

£200.00 PRODUCT CODE:AL25Y142

A hand-built earthenware small concave bowl worked on with multiple layers of coloured slips, drawn and relief printed images. Sgraffito drawing or texture is added and may be inlaid with slips. It is enhanced with subtle underglaze colours and finished with a transparent glaze.

This piece is from Anna’s Parcevall Hall collection. Parcevall Hall is a historic house in Wharfedale, Yorkshire, now a Christian retreat. The gardens have a serene quality and the orchard in particular is a place Anna frequents, particularly at times of illness, bereavement and strife. Watching the orchards be restored and renovated offers a sense of renewal.
