Dan Kelly

Dan Kelly trained at Camberwell School of Arts and Crafts where Colin Pearson was an initial influence, encouraging him to develop his throwing technique. His stoneware pots are defined by the way he manipulates them - cutting and reshaping by hand.

Sarah Monk

Sarah studied at Bath Spa University where she graduated with a BA(Hons) in Ceramics. She met fellow potter Jon Williams there, they married and set up their studio in 1994 at Eastnor Pottery, near Ledbury, Herefordshire. She collaborates with her husband to offer pottery experiences from Eastnor Pottery & The Flying Potter.

John Higgins

John Higgins has a degree in 3D Design / Ceramics from the College of Art Wolverhampton, and a Post Graduate Certificate in Art Education, from Sussex University. Throughout his career in education, he has continued to make his own ceramics. He has exhibited widely both in the UK and internationally.

Lise Herud Braten

Lise was born in Norway in 1974 and grew up surrounded by nature and the urban environment of Oslo. She trained as a bespoke women’s tailor before embarking on an Art and Design Foundation Course at Bournville, UCE, followed by a BA (Hons) in Fashion and Textile Design at Ravensbourne College, UK.

Her interest in ceramics as an alternative creative outlet started with short courses at Putney School of Art in 2012, where she continued her learning for several years before joining communal studios in London. After nearly 20 years working in fashion, Lise switched to ceramics full-time in 2019 and co-founded a London studio and gallery in 2020.

Ali Tomlin creates wheel thrown porcelain. Focusing on the smooth, white surface the quality of porcelain for making clean, elegant shapes creates a canvas for her careful decoration, adding colours and marks she creates her well known range of contemporary ceramics.

Graham Williamson

Graham’s interest in ceramics began at York School of Art in the 1960s and continued at Cardiff College of Art, graduating from there in 1971.He later worked at both colleges as a ceramics technician and having retired from Cardiff (now Cardiff Metropolitan University) in 2009, Graham established a workshop in Gloucestershire.
