Penny Simpson

From an early age Penny enjoyed playing with clay at home as her mother had a small pottery studio. However, it was not until she lived in Japan in her twenties that she became more seriously interested in making pots.

Loretta Braganza

Loretta began her practice in ceramics via a career in graphic arts, textile design and sculpture. During pregnancy, she found working on sculptural forms too heavy and moved across to ceramics. That was the start of her fascination with the medium as it allows her the freedom to explore her enduring passions of form, colour, texture and mark-making.

Emily Stubbs

Based in North Yorkshire, Emily graduated with a BA(Hons) in Ceramics from University of Wales, Cardiff in 2007. She went on to co-found PICA Studios - an artist led studio collective of 23 artists, makers, writers, and thinkers set within an 18th century printworks in the centre of historic York.

Ant and Di Edmonds

Ant first encountered pottery in primary school. His teacher, Mr Wright introduced him to clay and planted the beginnings of a lifelong passion. He started out as a science teacher but gave up teaching in his late twenties after years of evening classes and moved to Lincolnshire to set up his own pottery workshop.

Tiffany Scull

Tiffany Scull works from her Dorset studio based on the beautiful Isle of Portland creating ceramic forms decorated by hand with detailed sgraffito drawings of many different plants and animals from around the world. She started her journey and development of using sgraffito 20 years ago and has been a professional ceramicist for over 18 years. Over time she has developed a very distinctive and unique way of painting with clay slips, carving and using sgraffito to draw her designs onto each form.
