Carolyn Tripp

Inspired by a Chinese bottle gifted to her as a child, each piece Carolyn makes assumes its own identity with the application of transferred decoration. Collected imagery and text tell stories from lives past and present centring around the human condition and covering themes both significant and trivial.

Penny Fowler is a London based potter whose work reflects 21st century living in the capital. Using porcelain and bone china clays, her work is characterised by clean, precise lines and forms using a strong palette.

Rachel Holian

Rachel has worked with porcelain since graduating from Manchester Metropolitan University in 2005.  Rachel makes installations of miniature wheel-thrown porcelain vessels. These collections of vessels are grouped in a specific way to give meaning to a particular collection, representing family, relationships, and emotional ties.

Billy Adams

His work is influenced by landscape settings, especially the wild rugged beauty of Connemara and Donegal, and the dramatic West Wales coastline. He incorporates geological elements, natural colours, as well as the marks of human activity on the landscape into his vessels. He is interested in addressing the relationship we have with the landscape.

Growing up in communist Poland, Ania’s everyday life was underpinned and surrounded by stark, grey concrete structures – brutal, imposing, and unavoidable. This architecture was raw, substantial and woven into the history and fabric of the country and her upbringing.

Moira Goodall

Moira is based in a small village on the edge of the Blackwater Estuary Coast. After a career in Marketing Communications, Moira studied 3D art specialising in ceramics at Colchester Adult College gaining a City and Guilds Diploma. 

Moira’s vessels are contemplative and tactile, and strongly influenced by sense of place - the soft Essex saltings landscape, the quality of East Coast light, and the fleeting and ever-changing nature of life between the tidelines.
