AL286Y1500 Hemisphere Ikebana Vessel with Kenzan
This vase is hand-built in a coarse black clay with relief moulds of faces, and decorated with a white textured glaze. It comes with a kenzan (metal spiked disc for placement of flowers). Alternatively, this piece can be used as a fruit bowl.
Instructions for use: The kenzan, once spiked with flowers can be lowered through the hole into the vessel containing water.Â

About this maker
Anja Lubach grew up in Germany and graduated from the Royal college in 2000. She spent a month on Residency at the German manufacturer Rosenthal where she was free to explore porcelain as creative medium.
