Sara Dodd is a Welsh ceramic artist living and working in North London. Training at Cardiff Metropolitan University, Sara graduated in 2013 with a BA(Hons) in Ceramics. Sara is interested in sky and landscapes often referencing the regions of South Wales where she grew up. Sara has recently begun exploring the passage of time in relation to these ideas and locations.
Walter Keeler is a British studio potter specialising in salt glaze pottery. Named 'Welsh Artist of the Year' in 2007, Walter's work is held in public collections including Victoria & Albert Museum, American Craft Museum, New York, and the Museum of Modern Art, Tokyo.
Sabine completed an apprenticeship as a thrower in 1998 with Hans Joachim Grünert in Waldenburg (Sachsen) in East Germany, followed by a three-year training as a production thrower where she was introduced to wood firing. She became enthralled by the high demands of wood-firing. In 2000, she came to England to gain more experience and met fellow potter, Nic Collins who became her partner. In 2001, she moved to Devon.
Tricia comes from Aberdeenshire, Scotland, and studied ceramics at Grays School of Art, Aberdeen in the 1980’s. After a three-year spell working as a decorator/designer in a production pottery in the Highlands, she moved to Edinburgh to become a ceramic artist specialising in wheel-thrown porcelain.
Paul Wearing's hand-built sculptural vessels reflect diverse urban and rural landscapes. Creating tension between the orderly, symmetrical handmade form and natural glaze phenomena, his work aims to highlight our materiality and fragility.
After a career in retail, Barry discovered the joy of working with clay through evening classes, and soon realised he wanted to explore further and learn as much as possible. He then gained a place on the ceramics course at the University of Westminster, Harrow.
